Wayne Hurlbert Reviews The Future That Brought Her Here

Wayne Hurlbert reviews The Future That Brought Her Here: Memoir of a Call to Awaken at Blog Business World. http://blogbusinessworld.blogspot.com/2009/11/future-that-brought-her-here-by-deborah.html Here is a snippet:
Deborah Denicola takes the reader on an epic voyage of enlightenment, as she attempts to make sense of her lie and the very meaning of her existence. The author consults with several esoteric teachers, and discusses her philosophical ideas with them, while learning ever more about her own soul voyage. Deborah Denicola writes in a non-sequential format that reflects her inner growth and increasing conviction that time and this world are an illusion. She travels both physically and psychologically to the American Southwest, Israel, and the South of France. As she journeys, and begins to recognize her own spiritual awakening, the places become familiar to her, as if her spirit had lived in those diverse places, at various different times. As the author develops a stronger sense of her soul's journey, she grows an ever greater awareness of her oneness with all people and the universe.

Dyan Garris Hosts Deborah DeNicola at Voice of the Angels

Dyan Garris shares a thought-provoking article by Deborah DeNicola, author of The Future That Brought Her Here, at Voice of the Angels Blog -- http://blog.voiceoftheangels.com/2009/11/22/dinicola.aspx In "Why the Current Economic Crisis is a Good Thing," Deborah, an award winning poet, professor, and author, writes:
We are living at the end of a 26,000 year cycle, a destined time mark, when our civilization is radically undergoing change. The large institutions, the banks, the government, the corporate structures will hold on to their status quo as long as they can. They may even begin to react defensively, as we are already seeing with the credit card companies. We have also seen the heavy hand of the government attempting to shore up these structures to avoid all out panic in the streets, but we see the unfairness in what is happening with the bailed out companies. Yet, we needn’t worry, despite all the efforts to maintain business as usual, these structures are going to be overhauled and revamped.

Deborah DeNicola is a Guest at Ask Wendy

Author, freelance writer, and blogger Wendy Burt presents "10 Questions for Deborah DeNicola, The Future That Brought Her Here." -- http://askwendy.wordpress.com/2009/11/01/10-questions-for-deborah-denicola-the-future-that-brought-her-here

Don't miss this glimpse at a gifted and fascinating author. Here is a snippet of the interview.
The book contains medieval history, science, and occult mysteries as well as a personal story of healing from my father’s death when I was an adolescent. It’s also about creative process and dreaming and dream image work. At the end I come to some conclusions about where human evolution is going and ways to be in the world, living the ideals of A Course in Miracles. It actually took me 8 years to write and I started it as a novel because I was an “academic” and didn’t want to step out of the metaphysical closet. The story and writing the story helped me come to terms with some of these experiences.
